Last updated: 7 November 2026. Sketchglass: AR Drawing Trace ("the app") is made by DIGCY SARL AU, Casablanca, Morocco ("we"). Contact: hello@digcy.com.
You don't sign up or log in. Your drawings, Sketchdex cards, streak, course progress and settings are saved only on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them. We don't run any server for the app and we never receive your drawings.
The camera shows your paper while you trace and takes a photo of your finished drawing to score it and make your card. All of this happens on your phone. Camera images are never uploaded, stored by us or shared. The app asks for camera permission the first time you trace; you can turn it off in your phone's settings.
"Photo to sketch" uses your phone's photo picker, so the app only sees the one picture you pick. It is turned into line art on your phone and never uploaded.
When you tap "Save", your clip or card is saved to your phone's gallery. When you tap "Share", your phone's own share sheet opens and you choose where it goes.
On first launch the app asks for your birth year. Only whether you are under 13 is kept, on your phone, to choose the right kind of ads. It is never sent to us.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC). For users 13 and over, AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device and app information and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud; the app shows Google's consent form where required, and you can change your choice any time in Settings > Privacy & ads choices. For users under 13, ads are requested as child-directed: no personalised ads, no advertising ID used for tracking, and only ads suitable for all ages (rated G). Children only see video ads they choose to watch to unlock a sketch. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Pro, Remove ads and sketch packs are one-time purchases through Google Play. There are no subscriptions. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. Google tells the app which items you own so it can unlock them and restore them.
We don't ask for your location, contacts or microphone. We don't sell your data. We don't show banner ads, and we never show ads while the camera is open.
Sketchglass is made for everyone, including children. We follow Google Play's Families policy: a neutral age screen, child-directed ads only from Google's certified ad network for users under 13, and no data collected by us. Parents can ask us anything at hello@digcy.com.
Uninstall the app or clear its storage to delete everything on your phone. See how to delete your data for ad data.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions or requests: hello@digcy.com.
